After working on this incredible project for the last few months I am thrilled to finally give you a tour of this beautiful traditional modern home. It is such a rewarding experience to see a project such as this come together. It was a delight working with my clients as they had immaculate taste and where eager to plan down to the smallest details.
A few months ago I shared a “Get the look – Chic Outdoor Oasis” post here on the blog. If you were wondering and imagining how that design would translate into real life… Wonder no more! On this post we will be revealing one our latest spaces based on that very same outdoor design board.
So happy to finally be able to show you my client’s modern farmhouse master bedroom reveal. While the whole process took a bit longer than we had both anticipated, the results are absolutely beautiful and worth waiting for.
I am currently working on an outdoor room for a client. With summer being in full swing she wanted to create an outdoor oasis that would allow her and her family to relax in the evenings and hangout with friends. I wanted to create something classy and elegant while still feeling warm and inviting.
I was so excited when one of my good friends asked me to help recreate her formal entry room. Not only do I love designing new spaces, but I knew it would be a blast working with her. To top it off, she gave me full control and range on the project – what designer doesn’t love that? I certainly do!
While most clients neglect their master bedroom, and focus on decorating every other room of their home first, I believe they should really begin here. After all, this is the place where you begin your day at dawn and unwind at night after a long hectic day.
When we moved into our current home a few years ago we spent an entire week painting every existing surface. Well that is until we reached the den! It was a long exhausting process painting our 3 story home that by the time we were ready to tackle this room, we had fully ran out of steam. We took an executive decision to leave the room in its miserable state for a few more years.
I am currently working on a house project that will not be completed for a few more weeks. However, I wanted to take some time and show you the beginning stages for the furniture pieces and general layout for their living room.
A room truly fit for a little pirate. We started with a dark room that was bland and uninviting. We painted the walls and ceiling, replaced the light fixture, updated the carpet and created a feature wall behind the bed. One of the biggest features of the room was the amazing views of the Great Salt Lake from the large window. We removed the blinds and curtains in order to allow for an unobstructed view. With a few nautical touches the room was transformed into a fun and airy space. Now we had a room perfect for any little pirate to dream of his next big adventure.
