After working on this newly-built home for the last few months I am beyond thrilled to finally be able to share part of it with you. Working with my clients in bringing this project together, from the building process to now, was a delightful experience as they have immaculate taste and were eager to plan down to the smallest detail. The end result is an effortless and cohesive design that is beautiful and timeless.

Master Suite

My favorite part of this room are the high vaulted ceilings. While my client knew she wanted architectural detail in the ceiling she was debating if we should paint the beams a solid white. I begged her to stain them instead and I am so glad she did. The moment you walk into the room our eyes are drawn up and it feels like a majestic retreat. From the bedding to the decorative details, the rooms just oozes elegance and comfort.

Cozy Bedroom

The first room I designed in the home was for my client’s daughter. As she makes her way into her teenage years, they wanted to have it feel sophisticated, yet also be playful and casual. The design came together as we found the most amazing Feather Wallpaper in a bone color. This paper is seriously dreamy and you can’t even see the seam lines! By adding a pop of color with the luxurious Blush Velvet Bed, the room felt feminine and cozy. Of course any space fit for a girl requires a little bling, which we accomplished with pops of brass all around including the dainty Glass Chandelier. Little by little the room came together beautifully, and in the end it turned out to be one of the most beautiful spaces of the home.

Some of the most stunning furniture pieces we added to the room include the Ingram Glass Top Nightstand and Ingram Dresser. Not only are they stylish and beautiful, but they offer plenty of storage space (which is always a plus). To top it off, the dual metal drawer knobs were a huge selling feature as they are incredibly unique and add the perfect layer of elegance to the room. As we tried to find a balance between glam and casual we decided to go with the Lines Wall Art Prints. Not only are they inexpensive but oh so fun! The Rattan Chair placed in the corner was the perfect finishing touch to the room, and was complemented by a gold accented pouf.

It has been a pleasure working on this beautiful home and seeing it evolve from the building stage to completion. I am so excited to know that my clients have a lovely home to enjoy for many years to come. I am also excited to share with you more rooms and areas from this terrific project in future posts. Unfortunately, the photography sessions scheduled for the rest of the spaces have been put on hold due to the pandemic. Once things pan out we will be happy to share those with you as well. For now stay tune and stay safe.
